I chose the Fury for its versatility. Fishing the skinny, backcountry rivers and channels, as well as offshore. I have taken the fury on runs of up to 60-70 miles.
Example: Mathewson Hammocks in South Miami to the south end of the Elliot Key chain out to Fowey Rocks then to Stiltsville and back to Matheson Hammocks.
I mainly fish the Mosquito Lagoon/Canaveral National Seashore areas of Volusia County.
I researched East Cape for a 5 years before making my purchase. I’ve owned my fury for two years and and couldn’t be happier. ECC customer service and quality are outstanding! I’m available to talk about my skiff or if local if take take someone for a test run.
I’m a photographer (MMA Photography), a Paramedic, and a Papa to my 10 month old son! Life is good.

Editor’s Note: Here is a great idea for those starting a family…you do NOT have to trade in your skiff for a mini-van on the water 🙂 Matthew added all flush mount hardware for a removable bimini for those days on the water with his young son. Perfect!
Matthew’s East Cape Fury is completed with a Ramlin trailer with walkboard and blackout package so this pretty lady can travel in style.
